There are so many ways losses can occur and risk can be managed.  This session will put you on the right track to retain more money and cover your assets.  Loss control is a risk-management technique that seeks to reduce the possibility that a loss will occur and reduce the severity of those that do occur. A loss-control program should help inspectors reduce claims, and reduce losses through safety and risk management information and services.  Do you have any loss-control programs in place?  You should!


Kevin O'Malley ACI


Kevin O’Malley, ACI began inspecting in 1983 in Southern California after he read an article about the Easton vs Strassburger lawsuit which resulted in the first disclosure laws and the first real estate purchase contract to include the home inspection contingency.  In the early 1990s he started the first licensed home inspection school called Inspection Training Associates - ITA which trained over 15,000 people.

Kevin was an ASHI and CREIA board member and has influenced the inspection profession for over 3 decades. He founded The ASHI School, and Home Owners Network which is now the Porch Home Assistant.
