Monday, January 21st, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This session will present the practical uses and misunderstandings often associated with the use of thermal imaging systems by home inspectors. Too often, home inspectors use infrared cameras without understanding what things should look like with their thermal imager and the conditions needed to identify problems.  One of the home inspector fears of using infrared cameras is the increased liability concern. We will discuss the practical way to express findings without increasing the home inspector’s risk of liability.

This session will familiarize attendees with infrared cameras available today.  Several different types of cameras will be discussed and displayed for attendees to hold, try and ask questions about at the conclusion of the presentation.
