Complaints are one of the most stressful parts of being a home inspector.  Having run a multi-inspector firm for more than 17 years, Joshua Westlund (ACI, IBR(R)) has dealt with his fair share of complaints, both reasonable and totally bonkers. The era of social media makes complaints and negative reviews, not just by inspection clients but also by sellers and real estate agents, a particularly tricky minefield to navigate.  This presentation examines several potential approaches to negative feedback and provides inspectors food for thought to develop their own system for responding that avoids burning bridges.  It will show you ways to turn these stressful experiences into personal and business growth opportunities.
