Will I receive ASHI CEs for attending InspectionWorld?
If you attend the full conference, you will receive 20 ASHI CEs, regardless of what selection from among the 45 sessions you choose to attend.
Will I receive CEs to apply to my state licensing by attending InspectionWorld?
For all states that require continuing education credits for state licensing or certification, ASHI will be submitting the roster of InspectionWorld sessions to the state agencies to request approval. Lists of state-approved sessions will be included in the registration tote bag and will be regularly updated leading up to the conference on this website.
What is the schedule for the educational sessions?
There are three, two-hour session blocks each day, Thursday through Saturday, totaling 18 session hours available for you to attend. During each session block, you must make a choice between five tracks occurring simultaneously. You can stick with one track for the entire conference, or pick and choose whichever courses appeal most to you.
How will I know what educational sessions apply to me and which I should attend?
Review the session descriptions and create your own schedule. There are no advance reservations for any of the sessions – just show up.
What do I do if there are two sessions at the same time that I want to attend?
This happens to everyone. The good news is that most sessions at InspectionWorld will be audio recorded and available for purchase. Additionally, each registered attendee will receive a set of Conference Proceedings on DVD, which includes the PowerPoint handouts for most sessions. Conference registrants will also have access to these handouts online – to assist in your conference advance planning.
How do I buy education session recordings, and when is the best time to do it?
Most sessions at InspectionWorld will be audio recorded and available for purchase either during the conference or soon after online. Non-attendees may also purchase recordings, at the non-attendee pricing.
Is there a separate registration to attend any one of the Pre-Conference training courses?
Yes. Registration for any of the Pre-Conference courses that will be offered on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, is completely separate from InspectionWorld registration.
If I attend one of the Pre-Conference courses, may I also visit the Expo Hall?
Yes. All Pre-Conference registrants will also receive a courtesy one-day Exhibits Only ticket that will gain entry into the Expo Hall – in time for the Opening Reception on Wednesday evening 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. after the one-day courses conclude. The Expo Hall will remain open after the reception until 9:00 p.m.
